Sinful Sunday 391 – Celeb porn

A couple of months ago, A to sub Bee‘s Sinful Sunday photo got me thinking. It was a superbly contrived image and said so much about Sinful Sunday.
The photo below was quickly contrived, and was nearly published weeks ago, but when the Monthly Prompt was announced, I just had to delay this image.

As sex bloggers we express what we cannot share with almost everyone we know IRL, yet we are so afraid of what others might think, that even in this “safe”, creative space, with a few exceptions, we still protect our identities. We share photos of our inner pervs, yet we still feel the need to hide our faces, just as we daily hide our sexual proclivities behind our business suits or gym kit.

Sinful Sunday

Who are we really?
Sarge, the rubber-sub? No.
Rosemary, the exhibitionist? No.
AM, the compulsive wanker? No.
Henry, the mild mannered janitor? Could be …!

Later, on the day in question, buzzing round my head, was “Add me” by Chumbawamba. If you’re not specifically a fan of the anarcho-pop-chameleons, you may well only know them for Tubthumping, a largely out-of-character assailant of various pop charts from the late 90s, but one that infamously led to an incident at The Brits Awards featuring band member Danbert Nobacon, Jon Prescot, and an ice bucket …

… but I digress.
A treatise on social media, Add me features the lyrics …

I’d really like to mail you the picture that I drew
It’s Kylie’s body but the head is you
I’ve asked you sixty times before I’m asking you again
Would you like to add me as a friend?

… and it struck me that whilst some of us hide our inner sex-slave, our inner flasher or our inner rubberist, some of us are probably hiding out inner high-camp soap-opera-phoenix pop-queen. So …

In case you were wondering, this is the original.

Just for the record, I’ve always scorned all those faked porno-celeb photos where actors, musicians and politicians have their heads photoshopped onto porn.

But having now tried it in the name of a post-modern comment on the nature of privacy, societies prejudices, and repressed sexuality, I’d like to applaud those who regularly churn out such images: it’s a lot harder than it looks. [Fnarr fnarr!]

  1. So clever. I find the second image much more disturbing though!

  2. Oh they have made me laugh 😉

  3. Oh I love this… brilliant images. We are so much more than only what can be seen on the outside…

  4. Are you smiling in the first photo beneath the celeb? I’d like to think you were. Looking coy as she does

    • I’m afraid it was at best a frown, as I contorted myself and puzzled at how the hell glamour models and porn stars manage to keep smiling whilst twisting themselves for the camera.

  5. Wow very clever and well done! It is true that although I feel more myself as Aurora, there are things I don’t feel able or want to share about myself.

  6. Very clever and superbly executed!

  7. Posy Churchgate Says:

Super, super clever and very funny! Hats off to you!

    • I’d rather knickers off than hats. ☻
It really wasn’t intended to be funny and I’m honestly surprised it has been interpreted as such. You’re not the only one though, so maybe it is funny, and I just don’t get my own jokes.

  8. Oh AM this is brilliant. I know that this must have been a bitch today, to get the face the right proportion for the body etc. And everything I have ever read about Kylie is that she is very down to earth and has a great sense of humour so I think she might find this funny too.

    • Something I’d not thought of. I’m not Kyliefanboy, but she always comes across as lovely, and if hate to cause offense.
I’d like to think she sees it, and understands what was meant by it. (Which, as above, was not to be humorous.)

  9. Well that’s a new take!

  10. tabitharayne Says:

I think the Kylie one is gorgeous. I think she’d love it too. Your body looks superb on her 💓

  11. Oh my god that last picture. Yeah, you’re right – even in so-called safe spaces we still have to protect ourselves!
